### What are Deep Sea Crystals?

Deep Sea Crystals, or DSC, is a token that encourages engaging interactions within Clash of Turtles game-fi ecosystem. This will ultimately provides more utility to users within Clash of Turtles. This means that by giving players ways to earn and spend DSC, we're able to give them more things to do! To simply put it, DSC defines our game-fi economy, and a highly populated & healthy economy is what will enable us to grow, improve and implement more features to Clash of Turtles.

### What can I do with Deep Sea Crystals?

DSC will be utilized at majority of the features present in Clash of Turtles. DSC is king in Clash of turtles, from [purchasing loot box](/clash-of-turtles/game-features/the-tavern.md) to [breeding](/clash-of-turtles/game-features/turtle-sanctuary.md). DSC is also used to provide temporary boost to your turtles, and this is only the tip of the iceberg. There will be more features and functions that'll be added to the game and the more DSC you have, the better you'll be over other players. 

### How do I earn Deep Sea Crystals?

There are a number of ways to earn DSC. In fact, you'll be able to start earning DSC before the game is launch. Holders of the 1000 genesis series TOTOland turtles are able to passively earn DSC over time. Although there is a cap on how many DSC you can earn a day, you can claim your DSC any time. Here is how you do it:

* Connect your wallet
* Click 'Collect Crystals' to claim the DSC from all of the TOTOland Turtles you currently own.
